Manchester is home to some the best cultural sites in England and non better than Manchester’s famous Museum of Science and Industry. Other highlights include Central the Library, the secret church, Manchester Cathedral. As well as some of the other city attractions, including the Northern Quarter, The Green Quarter, China Town as well as the Imperial War Museum of the north where you can discover powerful stories.

 

Inspirational Women of Manchester

As well as this, discover the history of the remarkable women of Greater Manchester. See their accomplishments and the great things in the past which changed the course of history. Whether it be battling for the vote, winning an array of gold medals in the Olympics or smashing through glass ceilings, the women of Manchester continue to do great things every day. Visit Elizabeth Gaskell’s House, take a Lunchtime Cruise on the Emmeline Pankhurst or visit the Peoples History Museum.

 

A City United in its love of Football

The city of Manchester is synominous with the word Football and there is plenty to discover. The Manchester United ‘Museum & Tour’ gives you a unique opportunity to discover the story of the club, and see inside the spectacular stadium and museum.  You can also visit the Etihad Stadium, the home of Manchester City and see the modern and fascinating Etihad campus which has rejuvenated the once-forgotten part of the city. Also, located in the centre of the city is the National Football Museum that provides a fascinating insight into Nations favourite sport.

Mercure Manchester Piccadilly ****

This hotel is situated right in the heart of Manchester, overlooking Piccadilly Gardens – a perfect location to explore the city and within short walking distance of Piccadilly station. The Brasserie restaurant serves a wide selection of internationally inspired dishes and the bar invites guests to relax while enjoying a nice drink. Each of the 280 bedrooms is climate-controlled and features a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, iron and hospitality tray. They are with en-suite bathrooms. The hotel has rooms adapted for disabled use and private outdoor parking.

 

If the hotel is unable to accept your booking due to Covid restrictions, we will aim to move your booking to an alternative date free of charge.
