PAE Summer Stages - Rome 2024
During this 7 night vacation you will stay on the Crowne Plaza St Peters Hotel, located 3 miles from the Vatican City. A panoramic tour of Rome will give you an overview of the ancient sites and you will also get a chance to see the spectacular Sistine Chapel! There will be plenty of free time to explore this beautiful city at your own pace – try the gelato, shop ’til you drop or perhaps have an Aperol Spritz in one of the many beautiful piazzas.
The hotel has an outdoor pool so there will also be time to relax and enjoy the sunny weather and socialise with the other dance students.
Day 1
WELCOME TO THE ETERNAL CITY!
Welcome to Italy! On arrival in Rome, you and your group will be met and transferred by coach to the Crowne Plaza St Peters hotel, where you will be based for the next 7 nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
This evening there will be a buffet dinner with DJ music in the hotel gardens to welcome everyone to Italy and give you chance to meet your fellow performers and their supporters.
Day 2
CIAO ROMA!
After a leisurely breakfast, you will board the coach to be taken to Rome where you will enjoy a panoramic highlights tour of Rome. You'll be amazed as you see many of the city's world famous landmarks. Imagine yourself as a Roman gladiator at the Colosseum, throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain for good luck, picture the Senators entering the Pantheon in days gone by and watch the world pass by the Spanish Steps. The Vatican City, the spiritual home of the Catholic Church, boasts not only the impressive St Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel, where you'll find Michelangelo's masterpiece murals, but many more museums and galleries to discover! Skip-the-line entrance to the Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel is included.
Day 3
PERFORMANCE DAY
Today it is time to show off your dancing skills! Enjoy your morning relaxing at the hotel. In the afternoon, you will be taken by coach from the hotel to the stage area for your outdoor performance to the Italian public. Return to the hotel after the show.
Day 4
FREE DAY OR OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS
Today we have no plans for you! A selection of, optional excursions will be available to pre-book. Lake Bracciano where you will be able to swim in the waters or explore typical Italian lakeside towns; an excursion to the Frascati area for wine tasting & a typical fraschetta lunch; shop 'til you drop at the designer outlet mall and then transfer to the beach with sunbed & umbrella to relax and swim in the Mediterranean; improve your cooking skills with pizza or pasta making workshop; or perhaps experience life as a gladiator with a combat lesson. Day 5
DANCING MASTER CLASS
Today, you will have a dance masterclass. Further details to follow.
Day 6
FREE DAY OR OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS
Today we have no plans for you! A selection of, optional excursions will be available to pre-book.
Day 7
FREE DAY OR OPTIONAL EXCURISION
Enjoy your last day in Italy - a selection of pre-bookable excursions will be available to choose from.
Day 8
CIAO ROMA!
Time to bid goodbye to Greece. Transfer back to Rome Airport in time for your flight back to the US

No child reductions apply. Rooms subject to availabilty at time of booking. Rooms with double bed available upon request and not guaranteed.

Please note all payments are non-refundable once received by Greatdays Holiday. Should stage payments not be received on time, your booking maybe cancelled and all monies paid will be forfeited.
