During this 7 night vacation you will stay in the lovely Tuscan town of Montecatin Terme, located between Florence & Pisa. There will be time to explore the stunning city of Florence as well as see the world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. The hotel has an outdoor pool so there will also be time to relax and enjoy the sunny weather and socialise with the other dance students.
Day 1 - Arrival
BENVENUTO ITALY
Welcome to Italy! You and your group will be met at Florence airport and transferred to the in the Tuscan town of Montecatini Terme – your base for the next 7 nights. Grand stone buildings, bubbling fountains, a tree-topped skyline – Montecatini Terme ticks all the boxes of a Tuscan town. But what makes this place stand out from all the others is its soothing thermal spas. Making the most of magical healing waters since the 16th century, this elegant retreat has relaxation written all over it. This evening there will be a welcome dinner in the hotel.
Day 2 - Florence
CIAO FIORENZA!
After a leisurely breakfast, you will board the coach to be taken to Florence where you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of this beautiful city with a local guide. You will also have a Brunelleschi Pass which includes access to all monuments of Piazza del Duomo allowing you a complete experience with a single ticket: the Baptistery of San Giovanni, Giotto's Bell Tower, Brunelleschi's Dome, the Opera del Duomo Museum and the ancient basilica of Santa Reparata. (Valid for 72 hours).
You will also have a 48 hour hop-on hop-off bus ticket to transport you around Florence to see the sights and commentary in English will give you an insight into this beautiful city. A coach will transfer you back to the hotel at the designated time.
Day 3 - Florence
FLORENCE EXPLORATION
The coach will take the group into Florence for a 2nd day to explore the city. Your Brunelleschi Pass will still be valid or perhaps you want to visit the Uffizi Gallery or the Accademia D'Arte (entrance fees apply). Find a wine window for a glass of vino, visit a leather shop as the city is famous for it’s leather goods. The coach will take you back to the hotel at the appointed time.
Day 4 - Workshop
This morning you will take part in dance workshop and then you will have the rest of the day to explore the town – maybe use the funicular to visit Montecatini Alto or take the time to relax in one of the towns thermal spas.
CBDay 5 - Performance
SHOW DAY
Today it is time to show off your dancing skills! Enjoy your morning relaxing at the hotel. In the afternoon, make your way on foot from the hotel to the stage area for your outdoor performance to the Italian public.
Day 6 - Pisa
OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS & PISA
In the morning there will be a variety of excursions for you to book – either as a whole group or as individual families. You will be back at the hotel in time for your evening trip to Pisa, famous for the leaning tower! You will have time to explore the town and grab a drink or a bite to eat before returning to hotel.
Day 7 - Free Day
OPTIONAL EXCRUSIONS
A selection of optional excursions will be available for you to book either as a group or as individual families,
Day 8 - Depart
TIME FOR HOME
Time to bid goodbye to Italy. The group will have a coach transfer back to Florence airport in time for your flight back to the US.

The Grand Hotel Panoramic is a 4-star hotel, located at the northern borders of the renowned thermal parks in Montecatini Terme. The hotel features an outdoor pooland a health club. There is also , a restaurant, a bar/lounge, a poolside bar, and a snack bar/deli are onsite. rooms are equipped with minibars and safes. Beds feature down comforters and premium bedding. LCD televisions come with satellite channels. Bathrooms include bathtubs or showers with rainfall showerheads, slippers, bidets, and complimentary toiletries. This hotel provides complimentary wireless Internet access.
