After breakfast at our hotel in Portsmouth you will meet the tour manager and be collected by coach to travel
to Torquay in Devon. Located on the South Devon coastline known as the English Riviera,
Torquay is renowned for its palm trees, beaches, and continental café culture. On our way we
will stop for lunch at the market town of Bridport, and visit the dramatic cliffs of West Bay,
featured in TV drama Broadchurch.

Kents Cavern is one of the most important Stone Age cave sites in Europe, here we take a
one-hour guided tour. After lunch, it’s time to visit Bygones, a remarkable collection of
thousands of items collected by the Cuming family, including a full-size Victorian street, railway
memorabilia, and WWI trench. We end the day with free time to explore Torquay.

where we board a boat for an hour-long circular river cruise where we pass traditional waterside
villages, Britannia Royal Naval College, and Greenway House, home to the late Dame Agatha
