TITANIC BELFAST AND PANORAMIC CITY TOUR - £73.00 per person

This morning we visit to the ‘World’s Leading Tourist Attraction’ – the Titanic Belfast. Over one hundred years on from the launch of the world’s most famous ship, experience the amazing Titanic story in the city of her birth. Next we take a 2-hour panoramic coach tour of Belfast, the capital city and principal port of Northern Ireland. We will learn of the cities early settlements, industrial expansion, and political unrest whilst passing the cities major landmarks and points of interest.

 

TROUBLES, LAW AND ORDER – INCLUDES LUNCH - £73.00 per person

Today we visit Crumlin Road Gaol. Here we embark on a self-guided tour of the Gaol which housed well known IRA members among other criminals from 1845, right up until the gates were closed one final time as a working prison in 1996.  Enjoy a ‘Soup and Sandwich’ lunch at ‘Cuffs’ restaurant. Our guide will join us for a 2 hour guided tour focusing on Belfast's troubled past as we travel through both Catholic and Protestant areas. We will be joined on our coach by Loyalist and Republican ex-prisoners who will direct our driver where to go and will stop in a few areas where we will be encouraged to get out and have a look.

 

ROYAL HILLSBOROUGH WITH AFTERNOON TEA - £87.00 per person

This morning we travel to Northern Ireland's royal residence, Hillsborough Castle, including a castle tour which takes us around the State Rooms still used today including the Throne Room, State Drawing Room and Red Room. Expert hosts will be on hand to share details of the historic rooms.  We also have ample time to explore the expansive gardens. Discover the ornamental lawns, meandering waterways, and peaceful woodlands.  Before we leave, we enjoy a Taste of the Gardens Afternoon Tea.

 

LORNE ESTATE – GIRLGUIDING ULSTER – INCLUDES LUNCH - £69.00 per person

Today we take a daytrip to the Lorne Estate, home of Girlguiding Ulster.  The day involves joining in with Brownies staying on- site for a Guides Own celebration, and completing a craft with the Brownies. Also included is a tour around the Estate grounds, tea and coffee, lunch, and a tour around the main house and an exhibition of the Ulster Guiding  / Lorne Archives.
